Landing Remote Roles With International Employers

· 7 min read · Malish Careers

Remote hiring across borders has widened dramatically, but employers still screen hard for two things: proof you can operate asynchronously, and clarity on how you can be engaged legally.

State your working-hours overlap explicitly near the top of your resume. 'Available 9am–1pm ET daily' removes the single biggest objection before it is raised.

Evidence your remote track record. Name the collaboration tools, describe distributed teams you have worked in and quantify delivery without supervision.

Finally, be clear about your engagement model — employer of record, contractor or local entity — because ambiguity here stalls otherwise strong applications.
